If, the moment you got engaged, you felt your grey matter dissolve and form a scrapbook of ideas in your skull then you and I are the same person. I LOVE to craft everything and anything. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don’t, I’m still learning. That’s why I set up this blog, to share my ideas with anyone who wants to listen, to celebrate success and laugh at those Pinterest versus reality moments.
For my own wedding I created a plethora of crafts, I didn’t use them all. The one thing I can’t promise you is that you will gain any semblance of prioritising your crafts on this blog, it’s not my forte. I want to make EVERYTHING and time will never defeat me, I was punching stars from card whilst brushing my teeth the week before my wedding, but I was happy. I made signs, 1000 million Pom poms, wool tassels, paper tassels, dipped feathers, personalised wood slices (induced asthma attack-a story for another day)to mention but 10% of my crafternoons. I had the best time and the best day of my life and I decided I didn’t want it to stop. I want to share my ideas with all of you to help you feel the way I felt THAT morning, when I saw every mood board I had created sprout legs and splatter themselves across my venue.
So from here the adventure begins, I hope you enjoy the craftspiration. Let me know what you think, wail/scream or email will do, as although I see myself as adept at procraftination (the art of putting off all daily life routines to cover your self in wool, glitter etc.) blogging is new to me!
Onwards to crafting so hard we sweat glitter!
